These terms cover your use of the Sift app. By downloading or using Sift, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Using Sift

Sift helps you import, organize, and cook from recipes on your own device. You agree to use it for your personal, lawful purposes, and to only import content you have the right to use. You are responsible for the recipes and images you add.

Subscriptions and free trial

• Sift offers a subscription with a free trial. After you start a trial, you are not charged until the trial ends.
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically at the price shown at purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings, and your access continues until the end of the current period.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Apple manages billing, renewals, and refunds under its own terms.
• Prices may vary by region and may change. We will not change the price of an active subscription without notice.

Your content

The recipes and images you add stay yours. Sift stores them locally on your device and does not claim ownership. Because your data lives on your device, keeping a backup is your responsibility. You can export your recipes from Settings at any time.

Accuracy

Sift reads recipe text automatically, and automatic reading is not perfect. Always check ingredients, amounts, and steps before cooking, especially for allergies and food safety. Sift is a tool to organize recipes, not a source of dietary or medical advice.

Availability

We work to keep Sift reliable, but we provide it as is and cannot promise it will always be available or error free. We may update or change features over time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sift and its makers are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app. Some places do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date above. Continued use of Sift after a change means you accept the updated terms.
